Zorol Barthley is the Chairman and CEO of People’s Insurance Company. A
graduate of the St. Joseph’s Academy and the holder of a commercial pilot’s
licence from American Flyer’s College, Zorol also has general and marine
insurance accreditation from the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK, acquired
during the time of working with Tower Hill and Richards Longstaff Reinsurance
Brokers.
Zorol was an ardent cricketer, having risen to the ranks of captain of the West
Indies Under-19, and has spent many years in cricket administration, most
notably as chief cricket operations officer of the West Indies Cricket Board.
As an entrepreneur, Zorol has been instrumental in the setting up and operations
of: Regional Publications Ltd. (publishers of the Antigua and Barbuda Yellow
Pages and Business Focus Magazine), Prestige Motors Ltd. (BMW Dealers), Golf
Experience Caribbean (franchise holders for International Pairs) and People’s
Insurance Co. Ltd. In addition, he now serves as Chairman of the Board of
Management of the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds.
Zorol is married to Molvie and they have three sons. |

Mr. Stanley Francis is a well rounded, long established businessman. Well
known in the tourism industry, he is the proprietor of National Tours, and a
partner in Hermitage Hotel. He is the Deputy Chairman of People’s Insurance
Co ltd. |

Claude Anthony is a graduate of the Seventh Day Adventist School and the
Caribbean Union College. Claude is a qualified Accountant with over 25 years
experience and has held a number of financial positions in various companies
and non-profit organizations, including the Antigua Football Association and the
National Development Foundation.
Claude has worked as the Finance Director of Antigua and St Kitts, and currently
serves as a Director and Chief Financial Officer of People’s Insurance Co. Ltd.,
Chairman of National Parks Authority and CEO of Old Road Development Ltd. |
Carol-Jean George (Director) |
Carol-Jean George is the newest addition to the Board of Directors. Mrs George has been employed with CIBC First Caribbean since 1987, and now serves as Assistant Customer Service Manager.
Mrs George is a Past President of the Anglican Church Women Association, Diocesan Council, and currently serves as the Secretary and Synod Representative of the All Saints Anglican Church. |
